englsiche step by step Anleitung für meinen Yugi

At first I tried to find something in the same size, which is 1/8 and made a wire frame in this size. I used my 1/8 Cloud forcomparing the size. Then I covered the frame with fimo, which is a european putty that hardens in 30 mins at 130蚓 in the oven.

when that was finished I started sculpting the head. There is no special reason for starting whith the face, but in my opinion when you recognize the charakter you have it easier to finish the rest. For all this stuff I mix green stuff from kneadite with fimo (2/1) the fimo hardens in the green stuff after 2 or 3 days and makes it much more easy during the sculpting process, because the green stuff is more smooth.

the next step was his chest, which I wanted to make broader. Then I made the millenium puzzle. I made it as an extra piece, and added it here just for size reference. I didn`t like the chain so I searched for another one. Everything until now needs sanding, beacuse there are some fingerprints in the putty.

after that I mixed greenstuff with miliput, which becomes really hard. I wanted to make his trousers out of this material, because you can sand it faster then the fimo gs mix and make nice folds.

No after the basic stuff was finished I added his belts and the first version of his shoes. I had to wait to finish his shoes off until I could remove him from the cd. Now I added the right chain and the puzzle at his chest.

after that I added his jacket. the main part is gs/fimo, the arms are gs/miliput again. now just a few cards his hands and a few more belts and details were missing

after a month of hard work the yugi was done so far. I added everything and sanded it like hell.

a few users said to me add more folds in his cloth. At first I was against it, but I thought about it and as more as I thought the more I liked it. After I added them I sanded and sanded and sanded again. After that I sprayed a kinda car primer over it called filler here. It makes a smooth surface and makes it possible to spray normal primer over it without the small scratches in the material. The painting will follow soon, as I decided not to cut it into pieces:

By the way next project will be Van Fanel with wings and sword in 1/8.
